I have an early flowering white Clamatis (not Mantarna)in a very large pot which did not flower this year has produced much growth and leaves but the leaves get very brown tips and gradually the brown takes over the whole leaf. What is wrong? can it be fixed?

Seems to me like a combination of soil depletion and windburn, perhaps. How feasible would it be to repot it maybe after cutting it back a bit or even planting it in the ground? In any case I would try replacing some of the soil if it is staying in the pot and feeding it with a balanced fertiliser now and, for next year's flowering nearer the time, with a high potash fertiliser.

How do I say thanks?
