My Ceanothus plant is looking a bit thin.

How and where do I cut back in order to develop bushiness?

On plant Ceanothus burkwoodii

Ceanothus do not respond very well to pruning, especially hard pruning. Because this one flowers late, you could get away with pinching out the growing tips in spring and see if this helps. Otherwise, give a light trim after the flowers fade
