russian vine can you grow cuttings

Yes just pull from the stem base. I hope you know this is not called ' mile-a-minute,' for nothing!

taking cutting from russian vine is criminal. i had one in my previous house, i found the source of where it was planted but that was little use. kept under control it can be quite attractive but leave to its own devices and you better move house! as for cuttings i cant help you..

Most climbers root easily by layering. Pin a piece of stem down to bare soil with a wire or brick and it should root in a month or two. I've never tried cuttings as mile a minute is a real thug of a plant unless you give it regular haircuts!
