I think you've got woolly aphids on both plants, Samantha. You could try hosing them off with a really powerful spray, and do this several times to make sure of getting rid of them, or spray with a systemic insecticide. The problem with this last solution is that it would kill beneficial insects too, like ladybirds, which will eat the aphids. Annie
