Can I propogate petiolaris from an existing well grown 10 year old plus climber?

Hello you can propagate H, petiolaris, either by layering them or you can take cuttings of ripened wood in the summer, have tried doing cuttings of these in the dorment period but have not been that succesfull, layering i would say is the better option.
