I have tried to grow the side shoots that grow out the side of my Pachira but they will not grow can you tell me the best way to do it .do i have to dip them in growth starter ?

This one needs stem cuttings with one or two nodes present, according to info via Google - needs to be at least 6 inches long and inserted into moist potting compost.
