They look like turnips to me, so you might as well grow them on and find out!! You can still eat them. You'll have to thin them out though, to about every 4 inches. Annie

I had this exact thing happen to me. Exactly the same plants. I've been told it's rapeseed, maybe from the birds dropping it? All of mine came up where I used to sprinkle my bird feed before I dug out a new flower bed.
My Nan is married to a Massaii man who likes to eat the leaves of it so I've agreed to keep a patch of them for him! :o)

They're brassicas - don't know what sort. We've been asked this a couple of times over the last week or two - looks like a packaging / labelling mistake.
