this plant is slightly tender - may survive outdoors in the south or west if planted in a very sheltered spot in loamy soil which does not completely dry out, in half sun half shade.

I had grown one for over 10 years it had gone through other winters but I lost it in the last winter. It was well over 6 ft. It was growing against a south west fence, they like neutral to acid soil.
