thy look good in terracotta pots but they need a lot of watre. I have mine in terraccotta in an old aluminium water tank. so the pots are sunk up to thier rims and I water the compost round them in the tank. so far so good. I must post a photo actually as they are a new venture.

Herbs also need full sun, generally.
