why are the leaves at the bottom white

Asked from the GoYpedia sweet peas page

Answers

If you mean on sweet peas, whitening of leaves is often temperature related, meaning they went white because of cold shock, probably from when you first put them outside, unless you mean there's a white powdery covering, which would be mildew.
