how do you make a box hedge (buxus Sempervirens) branch out

ours are growing tall and we want them to be bushy

Cut them back hard they will soon branch out and then keep trimming them,I would start in the Spring.

if when it starts growing after above you just nip the growing tips out it will get bushier.you can keep doing this till you get it how you want

Just keep trimming box and it will thicken.
