Is this the perfect rose ? A few years ago we were walking around the garden centre trying to choose a rose and the couple beside us with their rose book in hand were saying " Got that one already. And that one . And that one " So I asked them which of all their roses they thought was the best. The most reliable, disease free, perfumed, long lasting blooms, etc. and they recommended the one in the picture but I have long since forgotten its name. I know it's a long shot because so many are so similar but any ideas regarding the name? It is 6 feet x 6 feet but would probably go bigger if I let it and yes, it has been very good every year.

Tardy filing clerk, Inverglen - I have the some problem - I know the info's there somewhere, but it might take the 'filing clerk' anything up to a fortnight to retrieve the name, lol. Happens with age, all those neurons dying off in the brain, the info's got further to travel and a twisty route with gaps in now instead of lots of highways. I try not to think about it too much;-))
