Rust - hollyhocks are very susceptible, to the point where really, it makes sense to buy a fungicide spray which controls it at the same time as planting the hollyhock.

I have had lots of Hollyhock for years and have never won the rust battle. I read that I should accept it! so now I remove the really bad leaves and leave them alone I always get great flowers but I worry less about them now!
