acer japonicum

Asked on 22 May, 2007

the leaves have not fully opened and look limp, i think it could be verticillium wilt but not sure. all the leaves are looking the same. can anyone help with what this could be and the best way to treat it. the acer is in a pot, and is about five years old. hope some one can help. thanks caro.

might be due to the weird mixed up weather we have had (may is the new april) really warm weather fooled many plants into bloom and then wet cold weather has messed them up , leave it another another few weeks and see what happens
