I have 3 self sown verbascums appear in an unsuitable spot. they are in their 2nd year and getting ready to flower, can I transplant them into my sunny back garden?

I'd say it's much too late now! Those tap roots will be huge. Trying to move them will just kill them. They'll die off naturally when they've flowered and set seed. Why not leave them now, collect seed and scatter it in the back garden where you'd like them to be at the end of summer? Then they'll flower in 2013.

How do I say thanks?
