Larix kaempferi

Our larix kaempferi gets very weak foliage in summer. we planted it on a slope and gets enough sunshine.. How can we make it more lively?

As it is on a slope I suggest you dig out a trench above it which will catch water running down the slope and let it soak into the soil beneath the Larch. Or sink one or two flowerpots around the tree which can be filled with water in dry weather. A feed of Growmore at manufactuer's strength. Could be scratched into the surrounding soil in February.
