how invasive are the polygonums my husband has a horror of invasive plants but I love these pink spires so need to persuade him!

many of the newer hybrids are much better behaved. The thing to do is to plant it in a big-ish pot and then plant the pot, as you would do mint. this will hep keep it in check for you.
