I have an 8ft high, very healthy looking, Philadelphus, which has never flowered. Can anyone please tell me why?
Two years ago I was advised to cut it down to 5ft high to encourage flowers. Sadly the only thing that's happened is it has grown another 3ft.

A photo wouldn't help because there are no flowers

Do you have a photo might it be something else?

Is it in a pot or the ground, sun or shade and do you feed it at all? Have you pruned it other times apart from 2 years ago and if so, when? A photo would be very useful, as Drc says...

How do I say thanks?
