pineapple broom

Is it possible to keep a pineaple broom tall and narrow? we're thinking of planting one in our small garden for privacy and looks

I do not think you can, as this will give you less flowers, but why not try, it is worth it. My is quite "sprawly" where it grows on the west side of my studio. Goodluck, U R going to love it.
