Rose bush

Northumberland, United Kingdom Gb

I was given a rose bush by some friends about 2 months ago. I still havent planted it yet, so with the UK weather getting colder can i still plant it or should i bring it indoors until the spring?

No need. But wait till it is dormant, meaning when all leaves are off. Then plant it and prune later in the winter, as pruning stimulates the growth and you don't want young shoots freezing off.

Yes Marguerite has got it right, don't take it indoors, leave it as it is, keep it in a frost free place to protect the roots, (can be submerged in the ground pot and all). plant it and prune it in March.
