Actinidia care
Can anyone advise as to best way and time to prune Actinidia Kolomikta. This years' growth has been over the top and it is now far too big and straggly.

My RHS pruning book says: Late winter or early spring; cut back by one-third to a healty bud. Remove an old stem at the base occasionally to encourage new growth. You can also apparently cut back wayward shoots in the summer. I hope this helps.
