Yours is a lot bigger and better flowered than mine. Although we did have to prune it a long way back. There is a deep red version of it too, we were looking it at in a Nursery only yesterday. Name escapes me. ?Arnold's Red?

Hi Owdboggy, This shrub gets enormous doesn't it, they say that it can reach 12 ft, pruning does not seem to affect it at all. Last year I pruned it back heavily... width wise, it has shot upwards, I am happy with it's shape now. It flower very well every year, but more this year, maybe because of the heavy pruning. It must be about 6 yrs old now. I have seen the red one online too.... :)))
