good for planting now?

As a novice gardener, what vegetables are good for planting now? Any ideas? The garden is relative sheltered, the soil is quite clay-based but well irrigated. Although we do have a rabbit problem!

I have just planted potatoes, cauliflower, leaks, tomatoes and peppers - I have tomatoes growing already and my cayenne and chilli peppers have enjoyed this cooler weather.
Most of your root vegetables should go in now so they are ready in time for Christmas :)
