hi again peeps...like many others my cordyline australis was damaged by the severe winter we had.it has since been chopped down to about 7" above ground level and has these nodules around it with green spikey things growing out...what are they? any answers would be very helpful.

Hello, thats good news for you, you will soon have new shoots coming through, and there may be a few so once they get going decide how many you need to keep and break the others away that are not required, and given time you can have a multi stemmed cordyline if you so wish.julien.
