I have two asiatic lillies which have been grown in large pots, they have become rather crowded they are three years old when is the best tme to divide them

Hi Dave (and Freda I assume). The book answer is - anytime. I do mine in early spring but that is only because I'm a traditionalist who believes that the time of new growth will give them a kick start. Works for me. But others may have different ideas.
