Is it now too late to sow grass seed on some bare patches within the garden?

I think it isO.K. the ground is still warm.

Yes it's fine, I am about to do the same. Don't try it in frosty weather.
I am using Canada Green.

It should be fine. I find that buying some rolls of turf and relaying areas is a much more reliable way of getting those areas re-grassed. Not too expensive either unless you have a big area to do.
