Hedgehog.

I've been tidying my garage ready for my fuchsias to go in for winter, but there is a hedgehog in there. He's all curled up and fast asleep in the middle of some rubbish that I was going to clear out to make room for the fuchsias. What should I do ?

Why not just put the fuchsias round him and give him a few leaves or something. You can't wake him or her up again now!

Thanks . I didn't want to disturb him now and I think I panicked a bit. He was in this rubbish under some staging. I think I'll put it back and the fuchsias can go on the staging as originally planned. Thank you Celandine.

Aren't you lucky, Hywel!
By the way, would he like some nice snails to eat? Do wake him up and ask him and I'll send them by snail-mail. LOL.

Spritz ~
If you send them second class snail-mail, they'll arrive right on time - for a hungry hedgehog in the spring :o)

Hi Anybody knows where I could obtain some hedge hogs please? They used to be native here, but as so many wild animals they are gone now. Got all the snails, slugs and worms they could possible want and lots of TLC to go with it as well as a garden with all hedgehog friendly features. And please let the poor fellow sleep where he is...
