Autumn is a good time to move things as the soil is still warm and moist. Rhodos and azaleas have fairly shallow rootballs but try and get as much root as possible when you move it. If there is a fair amount of root damage, you might consider reducing the top growth to make up for it. Also, don't replant too deeply
