I was given a stone bird bath by a friend, who had been using it as a plant pot unfortunately she had drilled holes in the bottom. does anybody know of a way to fill them without causing any problems to the the wildlife. as I'd like to turn it back into a bird bath.

What about buying some sort of plastic 'liner', maybe the local garden centre can help you?
