I am looking for a small tree, five to six feet approx to
grow against a shed in a shady area overlooked by a massive Chestnut Tree. The best I can find so far is Eunonymous Europaeus.
Anyy suggestions please?

I like sorbus as a small tree but it might be too shady.

Shady and small - An Acer (Japanese Maple) would fit the bill. You can always maintain it small (grows slowly so not a problem)

If you google small trees you'd probably get a lot more and specific information - suppliers too.
