I put mine in 3 weeks ago and they are loving all this rain, I had some trouble with some of the leaves going brown which I put down to the wind as we live in a place aptly nicknamed "Windy ridge" so I have made a fleece wigwam around them, hope I won't have to leave it on for long as it isn't very pretty!

It's a long time since you asked this question, but we have also been growing a Blueberry Bush (Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Northland’) since 2004 in a pot - have potted it up a couple of times, and always use ericaceous compost - as they don't like lime. We also only water with rain water - which was a challenge in 2006, I have to say.
It is a great plant - lovely delicate flowers in late spring, glorious fruits that the blackbirds love as much as we do, and a glorious autumnal foliage display too. Great value - so much so we bought a second one in late 2007, also in a container V. c. 'Chandler' - we'll see if this does as well.

I have just put some in this spring! I made a bed up for them, adding plenty of ericacious compost and a bit of bonemeal, then planted them in. they are looking good so far!!
