I am moving to my new home in November and there is a large wisteria growing around the house. Having never had the opportunity of owning beautiful wisteria how do i take care of it in the winder

Wait until early February then cut all this years new off-shoots from main stems back to two or three buds (approx 3-4inches) This will encourage stronger flowering in the spring.
If still unsure search 'wisteria pruning' on the web. You may find some diagrams that help explain the pruning technique.
