I don't think there is any harm in that. All my potted roses have been potted up multi-purpose compost, and I think I used that brand for one of my bush roses, which is doing fine.

Should be fine for a season or two, but if the roses are going to remain in the pots you might try a soil based compost next time though. Roses are happy in rather heavy clay soils.
