My palm tree has suffered as many have through the severe winter. Mine still have some green leaves with brown ends and some at the top appear dead. The bark is becoming soggy to the touch a quarter of the way down. Is there anything I can do to save it please? Rose.

What kind of palm is it? Cordyline australis? Trachycarpus? or another kind?

Cut it right down to the bottom and it will come again :)
