Can someone please tell me if this is a Viburnum tinus? We live in south west France and I have 2 shrubs, about 8ft tall. They are becoming heavy and I need to know when to prune them as they seem to have either flowers or small berries all year. They are evergreen.

If its evergreen and has a rounded growth habit, then it seems it is V. tinus - prune after flowering, early spring.

Hi madameann, I agree it looks like it.

Makes a great cut flower too.

Yes, definitely is! I've got one in the front garden and it produces blue berries later on. Give it a trim after flowering if needed.
