Transplanting a Camelia Japonica

When would be the best time to move an established camelia japonica plant? Due to planned building work to my property I need to move my camelia and re-site it elsewhere.

Probably now while the soil is warm and moist. Get as large a rootball as possible but I would still cut back some of the top growth as there will inevitably be some root damage. Flowering might be affected next spring but provided it is kept well fed and watered next year, it should recover
