Is there a variety of sweet potato that would grow in our allotment? We live in Guernsey, so frost is quite rare and temperature usually mild.

If the summer temperatures go above 27ยบ C for at least 4 months, almost any kind will work. Shorter or cooler summers will require varieties developed at higher elevations in the tropics, or for the Upper South in the USA--ask your supplier.
