Ants nest's in lawn

My lawn is 100ft x 80ft, well cared for by following all the correct procedures, however we have in excess of 60 ants nests consistantly destroying the lawn.
I have used all the correct chemicals/powders etc to no avail please could you advise the best course of treatment to remove this problem once and for all.
