Is it ok to recycle Compost instead of replacing it with fresh.

I layer it in my compost heap and turn the heap, I reckon the heat will kill anything unwanted.

I do various things, put on compost heap or add to flower beds to improve texture of soil since mine is very sandy. Welcome to GOY.

I do both of what Tussiemussie and Chrispook say. I DON'T recycle it by using straight away to pot up something else.

I also do a mixture of adding it to beds and putting it in the compost bin.

I put mine onto my borders except for this year when I have had an infestation of red lily beetles, so I have disposed of all my compost just in case!!

All my used Compost goes in2 my Boarders 2 :)

That's funny Jacque. When you spell boarders with an A it means people who rent a room in your house.......so you feed compost to your boarders!!! In the garden we don't have the A, it's borders. Sorry didn't mean to lecture you but it did strike me as funny.
