Wisteria

My neighbour has a Wisteria plant which has now grown up and over their end part of the roof. Can anyone tell me how far the tendrills of the plant will run under the tiles where there are no leaves to show how far it has spread. I have asked them to cut it back because I am afraid of what damage it could do to our half of the roof.

Yes it will damage your roof and if allowed to continue growing will grow underneath the underfelt which will be damaged also.
The tendrils will continue to grow on if left unchecked.
If your neighbour won't cut it back, push with care all that is covering your side back onto their side.
