Please help!!!My cordylines are growing this type of wet fungus,I first noticed it in the Winter on the lower part of the trunk. They are now over 15 feet tall. After recent high winds the leaves have fallen in thick clumps and my beautiful plants look very sorry for theirselves!!

Looks like damage to the cells in the trunk from cold weather - if the area is also soggy and oozing, cut down past that point. Otherwise, wait till May and see where it grows from and cut back to there - you may have to wait even longer than that to see if its growing from elsewhere.
