apple tree scab

By Potty

I have just moved to this home and have inherited a small apple tree.(unknown name),which appears to have scab. What can I do about it,and what should be sprayed on it? Thanks.

You can either spray with Dithane according to the instructions on the packet or try Copper sulphate (Bordeaux mixture, sometimes sold as). We spray ours with this at two week intervals from as soon as the apples form until just before we pick them.

How do I say thanks?
