My broccoli have become infested with cabbage white caterpillars and they have munched their way through fifty percent of the leaves in 2 days. What can I use that is environbmentally friendly to get rid of these pests?

I agree! Picking them off by hand is most probably the best way of getting rid of them. Good luck - I hope your plants survive.
