My non flowering Cleome

Asked on 31 Aug, 2008

firstly thankyou Spritzhenry and Wohlibuli for your suggestions, lettuce and onions it is! Now I need to know why my Cleomes, or spider plants haven't flowered yet. They are about 2 feet tall with healthy leaves and i bought them as seedlings from the market in May. Could it be too early for them to flower? Also my snapdragons have very little flowers and also my chrysanths. Could it be the poor summer?

Probably, unfortunately, though my Cleome plants have just started to flower this week. Have a look and see if you can spot any buds. Good luck with the veggies, by the way!
