In a word - NO! Not in the UK. It is widely regarded as an annual in Britain - so you can try mulching - but frankly - it is easier to start afresh next year. Mind you - I am in a MUCH colder area than you - but I wouldn't bother frankly. The seed is relatively cheap - having said which my "Suzies " haven't opened an eye - black or otherwise this year - not one!! Plenty lovely foliage - but not a flower....and they were inside as usual ...LOL

How do I say thanks?
