hi guys im planing a four year crop rotation in my garden the beds are about 4ft by 8ft im getting really confused one book tells you to put your onions in with the root crop and the other book tells you to put them in with the peas & beans its the same with a few other veges can you help me please

I find root crops grow better in buckets of sandy compost rather than the ground. It keeps pests such as carrot fly at bay, free's up ground space and the buckets can easily be moved around.

I have always viewed onions as a root crop is so far as rotation goes.

How do I say thanks?
