we have a grape vine that growes outside the concervertory but all braches and fruit are inside it is well astablished must be 40 years old we are thjnking of extending concervertory over bringing the stem inside leaving space round base for waterjng would this be possible

I would think you will find it won't do so well with the root inside. You will have a lot of watering to do, instead of it happening naturally. Hope you are not on a meter, and the grapes may not be such lovely large bunches too. If you want to extend though. It's the only way, if you want to keep the vine. Perhaps a water butt could be led to the space to water it.
