I am considering buying some nursery plants for autumn planting and would like some advice is this the correct time of year to plant would I be better overwintering in a cold frame?

I am not sure what type of plants you are wanting and what your climate might be. If you are looking into cold frames, check out the raised beds and cold frames from Easy-Garden at

If the Hebes are very small it might be better to over-winter them in a cold frame, I think. They haven't got many weeks left (unfortunately) to get established before the first frost may threaten!

How do I say thanks?
