Do cordyline roots cause damage to property



Generally not, though if its 15 feet high and within a foot of the house wall, or sewer/drains, it might, but only might. It's not like a broadleaf tree.

Most structural damage from plants like cordylines is from the expansion of the base of the stem, rather than the roots themselves.
