advice needed to get rid of roots from bushes that cant be dug out, have cut all branches off but left roots in

If you want to get rid of them, you need a stump grinder, or a man from the tree surgeon with a stump grinder, to come and remove them, plus large roots. Its either that or they must by physically dug out. If you just want to stop them growing again, drill into them and fill the holes you make with SBK brushwood killer, cover and leave.
